Astro Invaders

A Space Invaders clone made in Turbowarp with a few minor gameplay tweaks.

Earth is under siege by aliens...again. You pilot the sole ship send up just outside our atmosphere to repel the invasion. These invaders have come prepared however, as they've come with a bit more firepower than their first visit...

Every wave starts with an army of aliens warping in and beginning their march towards the Earth's atmosphere. Shoot them out of the sky to score. Occasionally, a mothership will fly over the armada. If you shoot it out of the sky, you not only score a bonus, but one of your shields will be rebuilt. You get an extra ship every 10,000 points scored.

If the aliens reach the earth, or you lose all of your ships, the game is over.
